Digital Product Owner (104862) 

 

Working Model: Hybrid (2 days in office)

 

Location: Mississauga, ON

We are currently seeking a talented Digital Product Owner to join our team at BASF’s Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory. As a Digital Product Owner, you will be a strategic leader responsible for defining, communicating, and guiding the development of a user-centric product that aligns with business objectives and delivers value to stakeholders.

 

Formula for Success: You Will…

 

  • Take ownership of the product vision and backlog, while providing direction and guidance to the product team.
  • Ensure the execution and alignment of the product roadmap with the product team.
  • Manage product scope, budget, quality, delivery timelines, security, and expectations.
  • Prioritize user stories, translate requirements into User Stories with defined acceptance criteria, and oversee their completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and prepare communication materials to regularly provide updates.
  • Plan user onboarding and training to ensure successful product adoption, while continuously maximizing product value and measuring success with defined KPIs.
  • Partner with Product Family Managers to agree on budgets and roadmaps and participate in community meetings to provide and receive updates.
  • Establish SLAs and NFRs in partnership with Delivery and Product Family Managers, and ensure they are met or escalate if needed.

 

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

 

  • University degree or Masters (preferred) with relevant IT Training.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading teams in a professional capacity.
  • Minimum of 5 years´ professional experience in software development.
  • Leadership experience within agile organizations.
  • Knowledge and experienced in Project Management software (Azure DevOps), Process mapping tools, Statistics Programs (Power BI).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving, change management.
