CRM Manager – Contract (105622)

Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in office a week).

Location: Calgary, AB

This is a contract position, minimum length is 12 months. 

Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are looking for a CRM Manager to lead the initiatives, activities, and team responsible for current CRM systems and for developing and delivering future focused CRM tools and services. This includes leading the successful integration and business readiness for Salesforce and other CRM business systems for internal use, which support the customer interface and the portfolio. In this role, there is a strong need for you and your respective team to effectively collaborate and communicate with multiple cross-functional teams at a regional (North American) and local (Canadian) level.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Work with Canadian, Regional (North American), and Global colleagues to define the next generation digital and value-added services which will provide the best opportunities to grow the Canadian portfolio by way of advancing the tools and services the customer facing team members have for engaging with customers. As part of the planning process, ensure the tools and services are aligned to address overall business needs.
  • In preparation for the launch of Regional (North American) CRM solutions, lead the collaborative development and implementation of the pre-launch plan, working with third party providers, regional and local cross-functional teams to successfully prepare the CDN business for solution launch and integration.
  • Building upon the learnings of pre-launch development work, define and implement the launch plan which will lead to rapid adoption and active engagement with Regional CRM.  As part of the plan, define and align on the resource requirements and effectively manage the use of available resources to achieve launch and integration goals.
  • Work with the various Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) such as Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations and Fulfilment to identify and prioritize needs. Working with a central budget, define what the annual priorities are and implement with the SME’s accordingly.
  • Provide leadership internally to CRM Specialist and to 3rd party CRM system provider to effectively maintain and optimize existing CRM systems.
  • Effectively lead and manage the CRM Team.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

  • University degree in Business, Agriculture, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years career business experience involving CRM, Customer Experience (CX), Marketing and/or Sales.
  • Experience working within and understanding the agricultural industry would be an asset. Strong understanding of business and customer needs.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and develop opportunities across a broad and diverse set of functional teams internally and externally.
  • Experience with or exposure to Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • People management experience would be an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial drive to encourage thinking outside of the box to stimulate innovation.
  • Demonstrated good judgment on the marketability of creative ideas effectively engaging internal and external stakeholders on multiple levels.
  • Ability to identify long term opportunities and take the necessary actions to capitalize on this. Additionally, ability to simplify complex subjects to reach a wide variety of people and effectively move concepts forward while providing direction, enabling the team to perform at its best.
  • Very strong strategic and critical thinking, taking personal responsibility to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation and report writing skills.
