Program Eligibility

To participate, you must be:
  • An Ontario Works (OW) recipient
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ready, willing, and able to work
  • Available for live online sessions during the program
  • Comfortable with basic computer use (Microsoft Word, internet searches, email)
  • Able to join online learning via Zoom (phone or computer with video)

How the Program Works

  • Pre-assessment intake by phone
  • Assignments and documentation completed online
  • Open to participants across Ontario (virtual instruction)
  • Opportunities may include virtual field trips and job fairs (as available)

Free Certifications Included

Participants can receive certification for:
  • First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
  • Customer Service

  • Runs on weekdays,
    typically 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
