Community Outreach Canada has partnered with Second Harvest to help clients access practical food safety training at an affordable cost. If you want to work (or volunteer) in food service, this is a strong step toward readiness and certification.

BASICS.fst Certification (Hybrid)

Discounted cost: $25 (for eligible clients)

Get the essentials for safe food handling and earn your Safe Food Handler’s Certificate.

Choose Your Training Option

Option 1: Virtual Instructor-Led (Zoom)

Full-day course (7.5 hours) with a certified instructor.

(proctored by TrainCan via webcam)

Option 2: Self-Paced Learning

If you prefer to learn on your own schedule, choose the self-paced option.

Cost: $37.00
