Life Skills & Customer Service Training for OW Receipients

JOB LINK 101  –  A 12-week partnership program

Program Eligibility:

  • Ready, willing and able to work
  • Must be an Ontario Works (OW) recipient
  • Must be available to attend Webinar remote sessions during this program
  • Willingness to seek and find employment
  • Minimum Age: 18+
  • Some computer knowledge (MSWord, Internet Searches, Email)
  • Must have phone or computer with video option for online learning via zoom

Topics to be covered to enhance your skills, knowledge and marketability:

Life Skills, Communication, Customer Service, The Hiring Process, Resume Writing, Interview Skills, Networking, Labour Market Trends, Best Job Matches, Dressing for Success, Personality Dimensions, Self Care and Goal Setting, Work from home.

Pre Assessment Intake will be conducted by phone, assignments and any documentation completed online.

Clients across Ontario can apply for the program as we have virtual class instruction, field trips, job fairs.

Certification for:   FREE First Aid/CPR, WHMIS and Customer Service

We have a workshop facilitation team of experienced professionals with backgrounds in the following:  Career/Job Development, Human Resource Management, Assessment, Behaviour Management, Counselling, Social Work, Teaching, Writing, Communications and Public Speaking and more.
