FOOD HANDLING CERTIFICATION
Community Outreach Canada has partnered with Second Harvest to offer excellent Food Training skills.
BASICS.fst certification hybrid course is now discounted to $25 to allow access to our clients wanting to obtain Food Basics First.
Option 1: Virtual Learning with Instructor
For the full-day course led by an instructor on Zoom.
This course includes:
- One full day (7.5 hours) of instruction by a certified instructor
- One attempt at the written exam (proctored by TrainCan via webcam)
- A digital copy of your Safe Food Handler’s Certificate
Option 2: Self-paced LearningÂ
If you cannot make these dates or prefer to learn on your own, consider the self-paced option ($37):

Option 3: Non-certified Learning
If you just need a refresher or quick learning for volunteers, take our free e-learning ‘Guide to Food Safety’. Email: culinary@communityoutreach.ca for the guide book.
