One Full-time Contract Position to April 2026Â (with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent)
The Criminal Justice Case Manager, is a specialized position that is responsible for the provision of case management and advocacy services to individuals age 16 and over who are: experiencing significant difficulties in daily functioning as a result of serious mental health or dual diagnosis; current or recent involvement in the Criminal Justice System; or at risk of future involvement in the Criminal Justice System. The overall responsibility of the Criminal Justice Case Manager is to facilitate recovery and assist clients to improve their quality of life through a collaborative approach to service provision.
Requirements:
- B.S.W. or equivalent education
- Minimum 3 years related experience required
- Familiarity with criminogenic risk/need principles an asset
- Familiarity working with individuals who have experienced conflict with the criminal justice system
- Knowledge and practice of psychosocial rehabilitation approach and advanced clinical and assessment skills are assets
- Counselling, crisis prevention and intervention experience
- Experience working with individuals having serious mental illness is essential
- Proficiency in French is considered an asset
- The successful candidate will be required to provide a police clearance that meets agency standards
- A valid G Drivers License, access to a reliable vehicle and business use insurance coverage, OR access to reliable transportation
