Throughout your career, you’ve become somewhat of a maverick when it comes to understanding the lending business and are known for providing top-notch support to your teams.
We’re after a leader who will create an environment where our Credit Management Centre (CMC) Team is empowered and equipped to take calculated risks that balance member service with responsible risk management. Under your guidance, they’ll be able to work through complex credit requests and make sure that our Retail staff are well informed in order to communicate decisions to our members. While the main focus will be supporting the Retail Operations staff, we’ll still need to make sure our loans are properly protected. It’s a balancing act that you’re comfortable with and able to instill in your team.
We probably don’t need to mention that attending meetings and approving complex and problematic loans will be a big part of this role, however we’ll still need you in the trenches occasionally. As an expert, you’ll be relied on to advise on projects and help inform decisions as well as resolve any conflict that happens from time to time between our CMC and retail staff around conditional approvals and credit declines. You know the farm land security act like the back of your hand and are proficient in Prolender and Moody's Analytics Lending Cloud.
You’re a strong leader who possesses extensive experience in the credit union system who enjoys variety and is ready to embrace new opportunities. You’re passionate about staying on top of the Dealer Finance industry and are well versed with lending legislation and regulatory compliance. In your career, you mentored and trained lenders on consumer, agriculture and commercial lending and supported their development in a successful lending career.
