We are looking for an experienced Project Manager reporting to the Manager, Digital PMO. This position will be responsible for management of all project execution activities; keeping track of business goals while balancing the daily needs of design and development.  

Responsibilities include:

    Act as Project Manager and Scrum Master for multiple scrum teams with a focus on guiding and coaching the teams to improve the way they work
    Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos by enhancing strong discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
    Assist the Product Owner to prioritize product features by keeping the backlog groomed
    Communicate and collaborate with other internal teams to understand any changes and remove blockers  
    Maintain Sprint Goals and metrics to show the team and stakeholders how projects are doing
    Liaise between User Experience/Designers, Developers, QA leads and Product Owners to foster strong communication between the disciplines
    Manage resources, risk, quality, scope, budget and project deliverables  
    Take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team, the larger organization and third party vendors

Experience, Qualifications and Competencies

    3+ years of Digital Media Project Management experience; working in an agile environment, preferably on a variety of projects
    Post-Secondary Degree
    Knowledge of software development life cycle
    Experience with Jira preferred
    Takes initiative, quick learner, and able to work effectively in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
    Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills both in person and written
    Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Practitioner an asset
    Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Visio and MS Power Point
    Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting stakeholder expectations
    Highly motivated and very proactive individual, dedicated to follow-up/follow through without reliance on management for direction
    Ability to influence, add value and/or challenge decisions when necessary
