Plainsview Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Marketing Manager. Under the direction of the Vice President of Retail Services, the person in this position will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Plainsview's strategic marketing plan and programs.
Specific tasks will include: Conduct planning and the implementation of member and general market research initiatives; take the lead role in planning and executing of advertising campaigns; reviewing, evaluating and suggesting improvements to the organization's marketing campaigns; enhance our reach through the Social Media channels; ensure competitiveness of Plainsview Credit Union products and services and assist in the design and implementation of new products and services. In addition, the selected applicant will support the credit union by the planning and coordination of various member-centred and public events.
The ideal candidate will have a University degree and /or professional Marketing certifications plus two to four years or more of job related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.An understanding of credit union services and operations along with advanced technical experience using Adobe Creative Suite CS6, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash Professional, Office 365 and Sharepoint would be an asset. A commitment to continuous learning and development is required.
