DevOps Build & Release Automation Engineer

They will bring minimally 3 years of relevant experience working in a devops environment.
The DevOps Build & Release Automation Engineer reports directly into the Manager, Service Transition.
Key areas of accountability for this role are:
Develop, implement, evaluate/analyze, and optimize automated systems or tools used to accelerate the SDLC pipeline and advance IT's continuous delivery capability.
Support and enable IT stakeholders to drive adoption of the DevOps culture and behaviors/practices that align to the goal of continuous delivery.
Liaise and coordinate with IT stakeholders to remove roadblocks in the SDLC process to increase speed while reducing risk to production systems.
Support the continuous improvement of IT performance and associated business value.

Solid - Communication skills
Solid - Troubleshooting skills
Solid - Programming skills
Knowledge, experience, and/or exposure to the following:
Application of Agile and Scrum project delivery methodologies
Automation of build and deployment metrics gathering
Automation and Continuous Delivery efforts in a DevOps culture
Full-stack development using programming and scripting languages such as PowerShell scripting or Azure Desired State Configuration
Build and Release automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible, and Terraform
Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Gerrit, or Bamboo
Working knowledge of TFS and version control
Windows Operating System
Cloud based deployments (eg. AWS, Azure, GCP)
Azure, AWS, and GCP IaaS and PaaS architectures
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
