The crew scheduling operation runs 24/7 - 365 day per year.  You could be scheduled shifts anywhere within this timeframe.  Flexibility is important for this role.

Role Purpose: Ensure crew requirements are maintained for operations in a timely and effective manner while adhering to regulations and communicating with all stakeholders.

Job Description:

    Answer the phone promptly demonstrating an ability to listen and empathize with crew members while ensuring a high level of internal guest satisfaction
    Ensure schedule amendments are in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS), Commercial Air Service Standards (CASS), the Company Operations Manual (COM), the Pilot Agreement and    the Cabin Crew Agreement
    Implement IROP contingency plans in conjunction with the Chief Crew Schedulers
    Assist the Chief Crew Schedulers with daily reporting and tracking as required
    Monitor and authorize FLiCA crew member requests in a timely manner
    Adhere to Flight Operations policies and Inflight Department policies as outlined in the COM, the FAM, the Crew Scheduling SOP, the Pilot Agreement and the Cabin Crew Agreement
    Ensure appropriate deadheading arrangements are made, confirmed and tracked for crews
    Monitor and mitigate Crew duty and rest violations
    Other duties as assigned


    Minimum 1 year airline experience preferably in an operational role.
    Previous experience with flight crew schedules and CARS is an asset.
    Intermediate experience with SabreSonic, MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
    Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with the capability of
            establishing respect and credibility through actions.

    High degree of motivation and commitment to work independently in a fast-
            paced, dynamic and ever changing environment.

    Ability to work with minimal supervision and take responsibility for
            accomplishing routine tasks.

    Proven organizational, time management skills and problem solving skills
    Ability to multitask in a fast paced, time-sensitive environment
    Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork while contributing to a fun and friendly
